Our Setting

Homestead Meadows Farm is a special event banquet and picnic ground facility bordering over 2000 acres of woodland preserve. We are just minutes from the Fox River Mall, and yet we are in a natural setting that feels a hundred years back in time.

Our end-of-the-road location is peaceful and free of traffic noise. Our acres of landscaped grounds are thoughtfully maintained to preserve the old-fashioned farm atmosphere, while providing photo opportunities everywhere.

Our hayrides take advantage of 50 acres of beautiful, rolling meadows, with frequent sightings of deer, fox, wild turkeys, cranes, waterfowl, and dozens of species of birds and mammals.

Homestead Meadows is a vintage farm, beautifully restored and converted for hospitality accommodations.

The Barn

The Barn contains three areas that can be rented individually or as a whole, depending on group size and preference. These are:  

1.   Lower Level—The lower barn contains 3,200 square feet of air-conditioned space, with large windows overlooking the south lawns and ponds.  

2.  Hayloft Dance Floor & Wedding Chapel—Contains 2500+ square feet of spectacular space. It is partially carpeted, with a hardwood dance floor. Cathedral ceilings soar 35 feet above the floor, creating a grand atmosphere for all types of events.

3.  Sunrise Parlor—A separate room on the Hayloft level, the Sunrise Parlor contains about 800 square feet, and is ideal for smaller groups up to about 60.

The Machine Shed

The old Machine Shed has been reborn as a party building with two different characters, one old, one new.

The Machine Shed consists of two separate areas.  

1. The Pioneer Room is about 800 square feet, and accommodates up to 60 persons. With its old wood plank and brick floor and many antique tools and kitchen implements, the Pioneer Room captures the air of an early Wisconsin farmstead. This is the room where the groom and groomsmen dress and prepare for wedding ceremonies.

2. The Machine Shed's North Parlor is 1,600 square feet, and is ideal for 50 to 100 guests. With its private restrooms, this room is commonly used for business meetings. It is also the place where brides and their attendants dress and prepare for wedding ceremonies.
